We are about to head off to Karaka NZ for our annual challenge at the New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Sales. Hopefully we can find another filly in the mould of our game little mare "Dame Claire" (Danehill Dancer – Lovely Actress) bought at the NZ 2009 sales, and also "Perfectly Stunning" (Perfectly Ready – Swallow) bought at the 2010 sales.
"Dame Claire" retired to stud this year, with a career record of 14 wins from 60 starts including the Listed Andrew Ramsden Stakes and the Listed Ansett Stakes, and a third placing in the Adelaide Cup. "Perfectly Stunning" won 4 races from 18 starts, including 3 metropolitan races in Melbourne.
We have earmarked quite a few and look forward to the challenge of assessing some fantastic horseflesh.
