The yearlings that we purchased in 2018 at the Karaka Premier sales, the Sydney Easter sales and VOBIS Gold sale are all either established or well on the path to their racing careers.  With the new racing season about to start, here is an update on the Class of 2018:

Iffraaj/Crystalina filly – now named The Nella Maris purchased at Karaka Premier sale.  She has had one start at Sale for experience, and has had a nice spell since.  She has just come back into work and we look forward to getting her racing again over summer.

Smart Missile/Kennilworth filly – now named Annie’s Missile. A thrilling debut at Flemington down the straight has marked this promising filly as one to watch.  She has now registered 1 win and a second from 5 starts and we are excited to see what the future holds for her.

Artie Schiller/Luloah filly purchased in Sydney has progressed through her education and is having a well-earned break in the paddock. She too has not been rushed, as Pat believes in “tightening the screws slowly” with his young horses. The plan is to bring her back into work early in the new year.

Fighting Sun/Demandehere gelding – now named Irish Fighter; is a graduate of the VOBIS Gold sale where Pat has found a number of handy horses over the years. He had his first start at Pakenham last week, and he will benefit greatly from the experience.

From time to time we  have opportunities to join in the ownership of our 2 and 3 year old racehorses.   If you are interested in racing a horse with us, we would be pleased to discuss the ownership opportunities that are available.  Please give Pat a call on 0418 995 475 or Cheryl on 5976 3137 if you have any questions or to register your interest in one of these horses, or one of our 2019 racehorses of the future – fillies  by Glass Harmonium and Trust in a Gust.
