Dan Zephyr achieved his third successive metropolitan win in the Ascot Racecourse Trophy at Flemington.  Michael Dee did a great job overcoming an awkward start to place the horse in the box seat, timing his run to the minute to score a 2 length win in what was a highly competitive field.

Pat placed Dan Zephyr to perfection in this race, stepping up to 1400m and also by taking advantage of Michael Dee's 2kg claim to bring him in under the minimum.

We are extremely pleased for all our staff at "Epsom Lodge" who continue to do a great job with all the horses in our care and more particularly "Woodsy" who takes a special interest in this horse.

Pat has done an amazing job with Dan Zephyr as this horse had his first start this preparation on Grand Final Day. It is to everyone's credit that he has remained happy, healthy, and performing at his peak for several months.

Congratulations to Dan's many proud owners who have been enjoying a fantastic ride and also to our great Trainer who has put up another picket fence!
