Music of the Night (Pierro/Moonlight Music) was certainly on song last night with a powerful win in the Andy McMillan Memorial Plate over 1400m at racing.com Park. Rhys McLeod gave her a well-judged ride, allowing her to settle 4 lengths off the pace, then setting her alight in the straight to win by 2 lengths going away.
Music of the NIght has a big ownership crew, and many of them were on hand with Cheryl and Pat to witness her maiden victory.
This filly has always impressed Pat, and it looks like there is more fun in store for Mark and Peter, Mark, the Gough gentlemen, Jim, David, Tony, Oliver, Brad and Lisa and the members of Peppermint Park, Reebasevol and Hey We Are the True Blues syndicates.
