The annual Yearling Sales Season is upon us, kicked off in fine style with a record-breaking Magic Millions at the Gold Coast. Towards the end of January Karaka Book 1 kicks off the New Zealand sales, then back in Australia we are busy with at least one sale per month until May.
Karaka has been quite a happy hunting ground for us in the past with SW DAME CLAIRE purchased there in 2009, and her first foal (now known as Maclairey) in 2016. We are heading over again this year, and Pat has identified a couple of prospects – including Lot 34 which is a filly by RELIABLE MAN, out of ARAPAHO MISS Lot 34 – which he and Cheryl will take a close look at.
