It seems that Nicodame is a bit of a night-owl following her win at Cranbourne on Friday 24th November at the Industry Associations racenight. She was in the last race of the night, and there was a delay of over 1 hour due to the weather, but Nicodame had no problem staying up past her bedtime to record her second win from 10 starts, both wins having been at night meetings.
Congratulations to owners John Sweeney and partners who have shown great patience with Nicodame, and to jockey Rhys McLeod who is on fire with his second win for Epsom Lodge in 2 days. It is always great to share success with our long-term loyal clients and friends, particularly with Rhys who did his apprenticeship with us and has been part of the Epsom Lodge and Carey families for more than 20 years.
Well done too to the team back home, everyone makes a valuable contribution to the preparation of our horses and we are very grateful to all.
