The very consistent mare Kasane made it back to back wins this afternoon at Seymour proving far too strong for her rivals in the 0-68 2200m event.

The daughter of Helenus has now won her past two starts at Tatura and now Seymour and the mare could not be in better form for her connections and trainer Pat Carey.

Kasnae was set alight by her jockey Damien Lane at the 600m mark where the mare dashed away with a clear winning break and held off all challenges in the straight.

Pat was once again thrilled with the victory of Kasane and said the mare thoroughly deserved the victory as she is a real "trier"  and a pleasure to have around the stables.

Pat may now look for a race for Kasane over the four days of the Flemington Spring Carnival.

Congratulations also goes to the winning owners in Cheryl Carey and Trevor and Terri Delroy's Wyadup Valley Farm.
