Nicodame gave us a great finish to the racing season with a handy win in the Cranbourne Hyundai BM64 at her favourite track on 26th July. She has always shown a liking for Cranbourne, and today she was well placed in her right grade to make it 3 wins from 23 starts – with all of her wins and half of her placings recorded at Cranbourne. Rider Rhys McLeod gave her a beautiful run in transit and she hit the front at the turn, responding well to positive riding to fend off a couple of strong challenges and score a good win.
Congratulations to John Sweeney and his partners who were there to cheer their mare on and enjoy her first win in daylight hours!

Many thanks to all of our Epsom Lodge staff. It has been a good season overall for us, and we look forward to the start of the new racing year with enthusiasm. We have some nice up and coming horses as well as some young ones that we believe have good potential to develop into winning racehorses.
