The foaling season is coming to an end, and we have another handsome baby to show you.  This is a Street Boss colt, out of Kissy Lips (Jeune – Topswan).  Kissy Lips was raced by Jason Carvell and partners and trained by us, she had 31 starts in her career for 4 wins, and gave her owners a lot of fun. This is her first foal, and we look forward to watching him grow!

We have our first filly foal of the season with Flotercher (Tiger Hill – Mistress Lilli) safely delivering a very precious little Filly by Helenus. This is Flo's second foal with her first being a striking colt by Authorize.                        The owners, who are the original "Ladies of The Turf Syndicate No 1" are delighted to have a filly foal from Helenus's final crop. Everyone has high hopes for our little "potential Oaks fillly" and look forward to both her and the colt commencing their Racing careers further down the track.           Flotercher was a staying filly who raced in the Tasmanian Derby and Oaks and we hope this little girl will carry the flag for all of us ladies in racing, but more particularly for the original "Ladies Of The Turf Syndicate" which was put together by 3 of us ladies who always watched the male gender owning horses, with the females or other half (or perhaps I should say "the better half") tagging along for the ride on raceday. My plan is to find another filly to race at the up and coming Yearling Sales.

Two of our favourite ladies became first time Mums in September, with both Our Serena and Starlett O'Hara safely delivering colt foals.

Starlett O'Hara (Gallileo – Chutima) is our first new mum, having safely delivered a ripper bay colt by Helenus, pictured below at 6 weeks of age.   As this is the last crop of Helenus foals, we are thrilled to have a bay and a boy to carry on in the hoofprints of Ethiopia, Angola and Durnford.

Our Serena (Fantastic Light -Tygry) is now owned by Tanja Park Stud, and had a handsome brown High Chapparal colt last week.  The plan is to send her to Artie Schiller this year.  The foal is just minutes old in this photo, and she looks the picture of a doting mother.

Interesting hoofnote:

Fantastic Light and Gallileo famously fought out the finish of the Irish Championships.  Wonder what the future holds for these 2 little warriors!
