Apprentice jockey Aaron Mitchell has joined us for 3 months on loan from his master in Western Australia. He is apprenticed to his grandfather top trainer Wally Mitchell, and currently claims 3kg in metro races, 2kg in the country. He has ridden 8 winners in town in WA and a further 25 in the country and regional areas, and rides at 54kg.
Aaron has come to Mornington to further his career and gain experience in the Victorian racing industry. We will give him every encouragement while he is with us, and you will no doubt see the name A. Mitchell on some of our horses over the next 3 moths.
