The champagne corks would be popping tonight at the Cristiano home after the strong win today by their filly Miss Hissy.  It was an eye-catching ride by Rhys McLeod to jump her out and lead all the way, with the filly scoring by a comfortable 2.5 lengths.

Miss Hissy was bred by the Cristiano family, being by former European Champion Golden Snake, out of their city winning mare Wehaveadream.  Wehaveadream is the daughter of Miss Dream (unraced due to injury) who was also owned by the family, so this is the third generation they have bred and raced!

This was only the third start for Miss Hissy, her owners have been patient and allowed her the time she needed to grow and develop.  She showed today that she has quickly learned to put it all together, and judging by the manner of her win, the Cristiano family have lots to look forward to.
