Resuming from a spell, Tippitywichit led throughout to claim victory in the BM64 1200m event at Mornington yesterday, leading from start to finish and holding off all challengers in the straight for a great finish.
The son of Fiorente out of the handy race mare Bella Mews (bred and raced by Full Circle) has now won three races from 18 starts and over 70k in prizemoeny.
It was great to see the team of Pat Carey and Patrick Moloney combine to win the victory as the Carey family and Moloney family go back a long way in racing, wonderful families of the turf.
Tippitywichit looks set for a strong preparation as being by Fiorenete he will only get better as the races get longer and further into his preparation.
