Domesday mare Wintonia scored her second career win at Sale on Friday 4th November, in the Star Hotel Handicap over 2219m.  Ridden a treat by Patrick Moloney, Wintonia was strong through the line to win by 1.5 lengths.

This win is the result of plenty of patience from owner John Sweeney and his partners, and lots of TLC and expertise from the team at Epsom Lodge.  Winnie has had a few hiccups along the way after recovering from a serious hoof injury, and it is a credit to Pat, farrier Ben Shinksy and the Epsom Lodge staff that they had her in such great order at Sale.

Congratulations to all owners, and thanks to John for his loyalty and friendship over many years.
