Sikeleli Afrika (Street Cry/Dancing) broke through for her maiden win at Bendigo on 6th May, in the Jayco Maiden Plate over 1600m.

This was her first start this preparation, and a terrific ride from Michael Dee saw her win by an impressive 5 lengths being eased down on the line.

Congratulations to Trevor Delroy of Wyadup Valley Farms, breeder and owner of Sikeleli Afrika.

Like all of his horses, her name has an African echo  meaning “Bless Africa”.

Wyadup Valley Farms are strong supporters of the racing industry, and have magnificent properties in both WA and Victoria dedicated to breeding and preparing quality young stayers of the future.

Well done to all of the Epsom Lodge team who work tirelessly with each horse in our care to ensure they are at their peak on raceday.
