Luck's A Fortune returned to his very best at Moonee Valley tonight with a 10-length win – described by commentators as "emphatic with a capital E".
"Lucky" settled back in the field, off a strong tempo and Damien Lane produced a classic Moonee Valley ride by taking off at the school before careering away for an effortless win.

This is a very special win for all of us at "Epsom Lodge" as Lucky wears the colours of the late and much loved Bryan Muschialli who owned our first ever Metropolitan winner – King's Spirit. Bryan was a foundation client of Epsom Lodge, and a pioneer of the Australian Bloodstock/ Export Industry. It is an honour and a privelege to be still training for Bryan's family along with Coral Thompson and Glen Funnell.
