This coming Saturday sees one of Mornington / Melbourne Racing Club's biggest meetings of the year, Ansett Classic Day.

This race has now been elevated to Listed level as is run over the classic distance of 2400m.

Patrick Carey Racing will be represented this year by Our Serena, a mare with great staying talent who was placed in this years Listed Bagot Handicap at Flemington.

Of course last year the stable was successful in the Ansett Classic with the ill-fated galloper in Cedarberg who went onto win the Group One BMW Stakes at Rosehill.

Patrick Carey Racing will be well supported on the day with many runners on the rest of the card.

If you are down on the Peninsula for the day or have a runner, we look forward to catching up for a drink with you and cheering home your trusty steeds at the track.

Patrick Carey Racing will also be having an Open Day at the Mornington Racecourse on the 13th November, so stay tuned for further details where we will be presenting horses from our stable that will be available for ownership.
