We have a few big days in store for our small stable, with eight runners over the long weekend.

Pat and Cheryl will be busy in Brizzy at Eagle Farm for Stradbroke Day. Gondokoro is fit and sharp, and will back up in the Channel 7 Queensland Derby following her strong win against the girls in the XXXX Queensland Oaks  last weekend.  Perfectly Stunning was on fire early in the year with 3 wins in town – 2 in a row – and has come back from a break in excellent order. Last start she ran fourth against the males in a Listed race, and in the Gr. 2 Patinack Farm Dane Ripper Stakes, she gets her chance to go for black type.

At Flemington on Saturday we have Altonio coming back to 2500m after his excellent 4th in the Andrew Ramsden Stakes, consistent mare Spot On Maggie hoping for a change of luck after a series of placings in town, and London Stripe with the in-form Damien Lane aboard.

Sunday at Cranbourne we are in the first and the last races, with 2 year old Sir Delago kicking off his racing career, and at the other end of the day  Luck's a Fortune racing over 1600m.

At home at Mornington on Monday Optical Illusion steps out in the 1500m maiden, and all going well he wil provide a perfect finish to the weekend.

Good luck to all!
