Pat and Cheryl are delighted to welcome up and coming apprentice Jack Martin to the Epsom Lodge team.  Jack (20) has transferred his indentures from Jerome Hunter to Pat where he will finish off his apprenticeship.

"I see this as a great opportunity for Jack, he joins us at an opportune time having ridden 26 wins in his career so far. This means that he still has the benefit of a valuable 2kg claim in the provincials and the new year should see him not far off being able to ride in town.

Jack has a warm personality, and a great work ethic, he is a good listener and these are all vital attributes in the making of a successful jockey.   He rides comfortably at 54kg and we believe he will be a valuable asset to the stables. He has a good roll-your-sleeves-up attitude, and if hard work brings success then that will surely come for Jack.

He is currently leading the apprentices Rising Star's Challenge, and we look forward to Jack's development as a successful jockey of the future."

Jack can be contacted for rides through his agent Peter Meilak on 0411 242 558.
