We have wound up 2018 in the best way possible with Khartoum scoring his first city win at Moonee Valley on Saturday 29th December.  Our apprentice Jack Martin gave him a fantastic ride, and wound up with a running double – winning the next on Miss Norway for John Sadler.  It was a special win, as it was Jack’s first city winner for Pat, and lovely for Jack to have his family at the races to share in his success.

This is Khartoum’s second win this preparation, and his third from 22 starts.  The big son of Helenus has thrived this time in, and we look forward to seeing how he goes over the next few weeks.  Congratulations to owner and breeder Trevor Delroy from Wyadup Valley Farms, and to all of the Epsom Lodge team.
