A big congratulations to all connections of Kilts (Super Saver/Pleats) who broke through to win her maiden at Cranbourne on Friday 22nd April at her fifth start.  Owners Cathy, Peter, Jenny, Steve, Mike and Pat and the Two Bells syndicate are all long-term and loyal supporters of the stable, plus Seamus from Melbourne, and Greg and Eric from Cairns who are new to the stable.

A champion ride by Paddy Moloney saw Kilts hit the front in the straight, and hang on gamely to win by a whisker. He was greeted enthusiastically by the team, many of whom have know him since he was a little tacker.

Kilts was purchased at the 2014 Melbourne Premier Sales, and her owners have been patient with her, allowing her the time she has needed to develop.  She is bred to be a staying filly, and we hope to see the best of her as she stretches out over more ground in the future.

Well done and thank-you to all of the Epsom Lodge team, we appreciate your hard work and dedication to each and every horse in your care.
